This is Freya a black Labrador I've used my new caran d ache pastel pencils, I really love these pencils, they are a dream to blend and so many colours to choose from. I'm working on pastelmat 30x40cm I prefer using this as it grabs the pastel and you can add several layers. Just added background, and done final highlights!

Pastel drawing of Meg. This was our family dog, a red and white border collie, she died a long time ago, it brought back some lovely memories of her. I used Faber castell Pitt pastel pencils on pastelmat, I used pastel sticks for the background.
